I adopted my black lab and immediately fell in love with her. I named her Zoie and she followed me everywhere an would jump all over me as soon as I got in the door from work. Three months after I got her, one day she started to get sick an after a trip to the Vet, he informed me she had Parvo and might not make it. I had to leave her in the Animal Hospital for an entire week an they finally let me go in an see her at the end of the week. There she was all huddled in the smallest cage I've ever seen and almost skin an bones. I was scared she wasnt gonna make it over the weekend so I told the Vet that I was taking the dog home. At first they said no, then I informed them I would not take no for an answer. After sometime they agreed an told me I had to feed her through a dropper every 4 hours of chopped chicken and enfamil. I took the next 2 days off from work (at time I could do that since I was in charge) and for 4 straight days feed that dog every 4 hours and held her almost the entire time. On the 4th day I woke up after falling asleep holding her an she was lickin my face an wagging her tail like there was no tomorrow. She began running around my condo having the time of her life. Before long she was gaining weight back and being more normal. The Vet couldnt believe she had survived. <br />
She is now 7 years old and still the love of my life.
